The WPT calendar never stops! Even during the Tokyo Olympics, the tournaments of padel are linked! We are at the preprevias of the Malaga Open and history continues to be written.

Indeed, Tia Norton tonight became the first Englishwoman to participate in a WPT women's tournament. To top it off, the 17-year-old won her first match! A superb performance for the one who is well known in France, for having notably performed tournaments alongside Kristina Clément.

In the first round of the WPT Malaga Open preprevias, the Briton and Sweden's Amanda Girdo won against another well-known player in France, Raluca Sandu, and her partner Noemi Aguilar in a very close match: 7 / 5 - 5 / 7 - 6 / 4 !

Tomorrow Tia and Amanda will have a big match against two players accustomed to these qualifying rounds: Carlotta Casalli and Raquel Segura! For a new feat?
