According to Pablo from El4Set, Fernando Belasteguín reportedly chooses Tino Libaak as his new partner from Roland Garros. If this information is confirmed, it would be a wise decision. The “Boss” would thus return to his preferred position on the left side, while betting on a promising player, called to accomplish great things in the world of padel.
The choice of Tino Libaak by one of the legends of padel could mark a decisive turning point in the career of the young player. The big loser of this new association would be his current partner, Víctor Ruiz. In fact, the Ruiz/Libaak pair has only played one tournament together, ending with an elimination in the round of 1 at Madrid PXNUMX.
For now, Ruiz and Libaak are expected to continue their collaboration in Amsterdam. However, they are not registered together for Roland-Garros, which will take place at the end of the month.
The main obstacle remains Libaak's current ranking. Currently ranked 46th in the world, this could mean for Belasteguín forgoing the year-end Masters. In the short term, it would also mean no longer being seeded in tournaments.
For now, all this remains at the speculation stage, nothing is official yet. To be continued.
