This weekend of 15 September saw the P500 Vidal Agencement take place on the Lyonnaise region in the TCM5 club. And the favorites did not disappoint in a titanic final.

This tournament was the first real test for Lyon players since the start of the season. With more than 28 pairs registered and a small waiting list, the level of competition has been up to expectations.

Under a blazing sun during the three days of competitions where the refreshment bar worked very well, the long-awaited final between the first two Series Heads took place.

The final consisted of the TDS 1 with Benjamin JOULOT and Norman SANCHEZ against the TDS 2 with Jean-Yves LEVRAT and David MIOTTO. And what a finale ... After the 5rd match ball obtained, the JOULOT / SANCHEZ pair triumphed over the 13 score at 11 in the 3 tie-breakrd set. The 2 / 50 6 / 4 (6) 7 / 5 (7) scores lasted more than 6h11 under a large audience, thanks to 3's exceptional gameplayrd set.

There is no big final if there are no great finalists, so we can congratulate Jean-Yves and David for their abnegation and their level of play.

Benjamin and Norman have stored up their confidence for their first participation in the championships of France in two weeks in Paris.

Special mention to some players, including the 4 finalists who came on the event the day before their return to the tournament: "An implication as we like them"Explains Pierre Gadras, the tournament director.

Pierre Gadras summarizes the tournament and summarizes the partners:

A big thank you to the company Vidal Agencement for the support given to this tournament to organize the best tournament possible for the players and spectators who came in large numbers throughout the weekend. Thanks also to Babolat, Tennis area and Padel Magazine for their investment.

Congratulations to all the volunteers and the TCM5 club who did not count their hours to care for the players and spectators. Without them, the tournament would not have been a success and thanks to them, the event went perfectly from A to Z.

The next tournament in Lyon will be the P250 at the club ASPTT next weekend under the direction of Benoît Chauvet.
