The number 1 seeds, Elliot Murat et Noah Dying, faced the pair in the final Tyrone Potter et Paul Gueguen in the U14 category of the TNJ at the B14 Bondoufle (Ile-de-France League). The first set, particularly disputed, ended with a tie-breaker won 7/6 (11/9) by Murat and Meurant, despite an injury to Elliot Murat's right hand, which occurred during the warm-up.
In the second round, Pottier and Gueguen, although led until 4/3, reversed the trend to impose themselves 7/5, thus gaining the upper hand over their opponents. Stronger mentally and physically, they dominated the last set 6/2 to clinch victory after more than 2h15.
Only representative of the generation 2012, Tyrone Potter played a key role in this success, maintaining a consistent and quality level of play, perfectly supported by Paul Gueguen. A pair to follow closely for the next competitions.
