After the first deadlines of the season, the  National Youth Tournaments (TNJ)  continue their schedule with a new stage organized from  30 to 31 May 2026.  au  Breizh Padel AS Rennes An important event for the best French prospects, who will come to compete for valuable points in the categories  U12 ,  U14  et  U16 in girls as well as in boys.

As is often the case at the TNJ, this Breton stage will bring together several of the most promising young players in French padel, with particularly challenging draws in some categories.

U12: Le Saux/Aschard are the favorites, Meireles/Laumont are ones to watch

At the  U12 boys , the pair  Marin Le Saux / Titouan Aschard  will arrive with the number 1 seed status thanks to a particularly strong overall weight. Behind them,  Leandro Meireles / Camille Laumont  will also try to play leading roles in what looks to be a fairly open competition.

This category often remains unpredictable, with many young players capable of progressing very quickly from one tournament to the next.

U14 girls: Meyer / Le Jeune at the top of the table

The painting  U14 girls  will also offer a very high level of play. The pair  Lois Meyer / Chloé Le Jeune  will start with the favorite label ahead  Justine Picon / Tessa Cassagne , another very solid association in the painting.

Behind these first two pairs, several teams could shake up the hierarchy, notably  Julia Caparros / Mia Juan , very well positioned in the table.

U14 boys: Bessiere / Pottier headline the match

Among boys, the  U14  are shaping up to be particularly competitive with several very homogeneous pairs.

The number 1 seed will consist of  Gabriel Bessiere  et  Tyrone Potter , While  Léon Benveniste / Lucas Terminet  will start as the main outsiders.

Also pay attention to the pair  Lino Meireles / Théo Schuhl capable of creating a surprise in this very dense picture.

U16 girls: Estrade / Nguyen Ba are superior on paper

The painting  U16 girls  will be led by one of the strongest associations of the weekend:  Rose Estrade / Eva Nguyen Ba impressive on paper with an extremely low total weight.

Behind them,  Alice Rolland / Louise Clorennec-Beuzit  will attempt to challenge this anticipated dominance in a category where the overall level continues to rise tournament after tournament.

U16 boys: Cacheux/Caby favorites in a very competitive draw

Finally, the painting  U16 boys  will probably offer one of the most anticipated categories of the weekend.

The pair  Louis Cacheux / Victor Caby  will arrive as the number 1 seed ahead  Elliot Mura / Théo Hemery , another very ambitious association.

Several pairs could nevertheless play spoiler in a particularly evenly matched draw, notably  Noë Meurant / Aaron Demontis  or,  Thomas Chambeu / Luka Perdreau .

Schedule of brackets and match formats

As with previous stages of the circuit, several game formats will be used depending on the categories and the different phases of the tournament.

For the group stages and certain intermediate brackets:

  • Matches consist of 2 sets of 6 games
  • Decisive point at 40-A
  • Super tie-break in case of a third set

Starting with the main final stages:

  • Matches consist of 3 sets of 6 games
  • Decisive point

The ranking matches will be played in a shorter format to allow all the youngsters to play multiple matches during the weekend.
