After a busy season and direct entry to the Paris Major 2025 thanks to his points,  Carla Toully  is already projecting towards  Roland Garros , an event that she considers the highlight of her year.

A special Roland-Garros

"For me, this is the best tournament of the year," says Carla. Last year, she had to withdraw due to a back injury, a frustrating experience that she hopes to erase this time. "I'm going to try to put less pressure on myself. This year, it's different: for the first time, I came in without a wild card. I'm coming in with my points, which means I deserve it, and it takes some of the pressure off."

His current partner, ranked  63th in the world , will also share this excitement: "She told me that, for once, she was going to play with a French woman. She hopes to have the chance to play on the Chatrier. I told her that we would do everything for it."

A paying calendar strategy

To secure her spot at Roland Garros, Carla spared no effort this summer. "I played a lot of tournaments, I knew I was on the verge of getting back in. I had points to defend after my victory in Bandol last year, and I didn't want to lose them."

She admits to sacrificing some vacation time to consolidate her ranking. "It was a shame to take a week off and lose 40 points, when it could have cost me Roland Garros. In the end, even without that, I would have made it back thanks to my partner's points, but it allows us to be seeded 8 in Madrid. And that changes things a lot."

Despite this series of events, Carla has managed to find a balance. "I still took a few days, two or three, to unwind. I don't need much, otherwise I get bored. Maybe after the busy September period, I'll take a break, but staying home is enough to recharge my batteries."
