Le  Gijon P2  begins with the  qualifications and two French players will try to join the  main board  :  Carla Toully , associated with the Spanish  Camila Fassio , and  Léa Godallier , in a duet with the Italian woman  Giorgia Marchetti .

For  Touly / Fassio The draw is far from a foregone conclusion. They will face the  TS7 qualifying, Ortiz / Martinez ,  third rotation of 10 a.m. on court 2 .

A challenging first round for the Franco-Spanish pair who will be looking to bounce back after a  FIP Silver Espoo  Frustrating, ending in the round of 16. The objective will be clear: regain confidence and secure a place in the main draw.

On their side,  Godallier / Marchetti  approach these qualifiers with solid benchmarks. Finalists of the  FIP Silver Dubai they leave  seeded 4  and will make their entrance right after Touly's match.

They will be facing the Dutch team.  Luttikhuis / Hemmes , a pair to be taken seriously but within their reach if they maintain the level shown in recent weeks.
