The circuit Premier Padel and the pre-season tournament Hexagon Cup announced this week a major strategic partnership. Their goal? To support the FIP (International Federation of Padel) and accelerate the growth of padel on a global scale.
Hexagon Cup, a key player in the development of padel
With its two pre-season editions held in Madrid in January and February, theHexagon Cup has helped to boost the international padel scene thanks to an innovative and spectacular format. This tournament pits teams led and represented by influential personalities, such as celebrities (Eva Longoria) and renowned athletes (Agüero, Murray, Gasly, Joshua…).
The pillars of world padel
- Premier Padel : the world's first professional padel circuit, with its star players (Tapia, Coello, Galan…).
- Hexagon Cup : team franchise padel competition and entertainment event, launched and inspired by a group of padel and sports industry professionals.
- FIP (International Federation of Padel) : governing body of padel worldwide, supervising nearly 100 national federations worldwide.
A strategic partnership for the future of padel
This partnership is based on collaborations, initiatives and ambitious projects, drawing on the experience and networks of each player to propel padel onto the world stage.
The first concrete actions
- Launch of the first FIP Intercontinental Cup in Europe this summer, with Hexagon Cup as an official partner.
- Mutual promotion of events between Premier Padel et Hexagon Cup.
- Expansion of the Hexagon Cup circuit beyond Madrid, with the exploration of new strategic territories.
- Creation of new tournament concepts, including at major motorsport and football events, to attract an even wider audience.
Goal: the Olympic Games!
One of the major challenges of this collaboration is to support padel's candidacy for Olympic Games. If sport will not be on the program of Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, the objective remains Brisbane 2032, where the integration of padel seems increasingly likely.
With this alliance between Premier Padel et Hexagon Cup, padel takes a new decisive step towards worldwide recognition and, perhaps soon, an Olympic presence!

A big sports enthusiast and former tennis player, I discovered padel a few years ago without really focusing on it. Then I became addicted to this sport by practicing it and watching the premier padel matches. Looking forward to sharing the 2025 news with you!
