Thursday promises to be a busy day on the Kuwait Arena's center court. For the first time since the start of the tournament, several of the top seeds, both men and women, will play their matches back-to-back in the same venue.
The program begins at noon local time (10 a.m. in France), with the entry of Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea, current world firsts. The Spanish-Argentine duo returns to competition a month after the Milano P1 and will face Bea Caldera and Carmen Goenaga, a first test to assess their pace in this global format.
The next match will see Ari Sánchez and Paula Josemaría making their debut in the event. The number 2 horses, who have regained stability and confidence after their victories in Milan and then NewGiza, will face Martina Fassio and Patty LlagunoThis new association arrives in Kuwait with positive momentum, following a good run at the FIP Silver in Dubai.
The afternoon will be devoted to the men's draws, still on the center court. Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia will open the session facing Álex Ruiz and Juanlu Esbrí, a confrontation reminiscent of their duel in Milan.
In the wake of this match, Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto will continue their journey against Goenaga and Hernández.
The final match on Centre Court, scheduled for the evening, will pit Guille Collado and Pol Hernandez à Franco Stupaczuk and Juan LebrónFor Lebrón, who is used to big events, this competition represents an opportunity to regain continuity after a season marked by several changes… which will continue with Leo Augsburger starting with the Mexico Major.
Meanwhile, three other courts will host important matches. On the Alghanim Court, Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas will open the day facing Gutierrez / Alfonsobefore a women's match between Andrea Ustero – Sofia Araújo et Barrera – Velasco.
At the end of the afternoon, Claudia Fernandez and Bea Gonzalez will make their entrance facing Cánovas / Rodríguez, a highly anticipated encounter after their final in Milan.
