The French Tennis Federation had launched on its new FFT TV platform, a series of Tennis tutorials. Around padel to be highlighted by the FFT via 18 videos available from January 2021.

Tutorials for the general public

The FFT wants “democratize as much as possible padel in France". With the implementation of these tutorials padel, the ambition is to " allow beginners to discover and understand the basics of padel ».

Arnaud Taboni explains that there is also another goal:

Allow new players to discover the padel via these tutorials. This, we hope, will make it possible to gain new licensees and competitors on the padel.

The 18 videos are user-friendly. They are carried out like tennis tutorials with the emphasis on the rules, technical bases, strategies, communication that must be had on a court ...

A priori we should have 18 tutorials which will focus on the main themes of the padel and which will be aimed primarily at players who are embarking on the adventure padel.

We want to brew as many people as possible. And that is the ambition of these tutorials.

Tutorials like short films

Arnaud Taboni was notably in charge of defining the themes and writing the scripts before making the videos.

These videos are going to be real nuggets. We've certainly never seen this in the middle of the padel whether in France or elsewhere. 

The means put in place by the FFT are quite remarkable.

We are bound to be jealous of our neighbors (laughs).

Each tutorial is a short film. Everything is scripted by a technical team, with the setting up of a set, smoke, color effects, we are in a film.

We had a unique experience with the players in the padel, for sure.

The technical manager of these tutorials continues:

On screen, we will have the chance to see 4 players that we know very well since they are from the middle.

There will be Alix Collombon and Bastien Blanqué, the professionals of padel.

And then their luxury sparring partners: Jerôme Inzerillo and Wendy Barsotti

For the record, I think we'll see more sparrings on the screen! (to laugh)

If for now the FFT certainly intends to capitalize on these videos and see the result, it's a safe bet that it could, if successful, make new videos. padel on other topics.

We hope that there will be other tutorials padel maybe in 2022. In any case, it was a great experience with some very good people.
