Televisión Española (TVE), Spain's leading public broadcaster, is committed to Premier Padel thanks to a major non-exclusive distribution agreement with Premier Padel for the 2022 season. After Canal Plus yesterday, here is a new broadcaster of choice for the official circuit of the FIP!

TVE will begin its coverage from Premier Padel by Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major, who, as you know, will take place in a few days at the Stade Roland-Garros. The tournament will start on July 11 until July 17. The agreement also includes the rights of the Premier Padel P1 de Madrid, which will take place at the WiZink Center from August 1 to 6.

TVE will air all 'Majors' and 'P1' events on the schedule Premier Padel 2022, with selected matches that will be broadcast on the linear channel of the Teledeporte network and on RTVE Play, the digital platform of the broadcaster TVE. Events will continue to be streamed for free on YouTube in Spain. Thanks to the agreement with TVE, Premier Padel achieves global exposure and unrivaled audiences in Spain.

This news underlines the growing popularity of this sport in the world since the launch of Premier Padel, the official world circuit of padel, governed by the International Federation of padel (FIP) and supported by the Professional Padel Association (PPA) and Qatar Sports Investments (QSI).
Le Premier Padel Italian Major, held in May witnessed the most far-reaching of any event in the history of the padel with broadcast in over 167 territories globally, surpassing the 156 territories that broadcast the inaugural event, the Ooredoo Qatar Major 2022 in March, once again highlighting the interest of Premier Padel for major international media.

The President of the FIP, Luigi Carraro, welcomes this association: “We are delighted to bring Televisión Española into the family Premier Padel for the 2022 season. TVE has great reach and exposure in the country, which means that millions of fans will be able to be inspired by our players and enjoy our tournaments, starting with the Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major at the Stade Roland-Garros from July 11. The International Federation of Padel is constantly looking for ways to bring a wider audience to the padel around the world, with a focus on inclusion and accessibility – and this deal with TVE in Spain is proof of that.”
