“The new health measures adopted by the French government in the fight against Covid 19 have caused the cancellation of the'Monaco Open expected next week. The rapid action of the board of directors of theAPT Padel Take the Tour made possible the incorporation of a new tournament, the Cork Open, in the week of April 18 to 25.

The new requirements that France will impose make it practically impossible for players to enter the country and it is for this reason that the tournament Monaco Open who had to play with April 4 to 11 at the tennis club Padel Soleil has been canceled. This eventuality had been foreseen by the board of directors of the APT. Padel Tour due to sudden changes in the health regulations of each country.

Faced with this situation, and thanks to the support of the Belgian Federation, it was decided to organize two consecutive tournaments in Liège, as was the case in Asuncion (Paraguay).

THEBelgian Open will proceed as planned from April 11 to 18, but the registration period will be extended until Friday April 2, with the draw taking place on Saturday 3.

In addition, as of today, registrations for the'Liege Open, which will be endowed with 35.000 euros price and will be played out April 18 to 25, in the same facilities of the official Bayards Sports club and on the central court of the Manège de la Caserne Fonck.
