There are 4 types of competitions padel in 2019/2020. They were implemented by the French Tennis Federation.

There are several types of competitions in Padel :

  • tournaments
  • the team championships (interclubs) organized by certain leagues
  • the Senior French Championships in pairs
  • the French Youth Team Championships (Inter-Leagues)

Tournaments: There are six types of homologated events possible: Men's Doubles (DM) Seniors categories or + 45; Doubles Ladies (DD) Seniors or + 45; Mixed Doubles (DMX) Seniors or + 45.

Interclub, regional and / or departmental team championships may be held in DM, DD or DMX (Seniors or + 45). There is still no French Interclub Team Championship.

Senior French Championships in pairs: two events exist: Double

Senior Men and Double Ladies Senior.

The French Youth Team Championships (Interligues): two men's and women's events, in which the leagues can enter a team (on selection). A male or female team consists of 6 players: 2 players / U18 players, 2 players / U16 and 2 players / U14 players. Each meeting includes 3 games.
