Saturday June 21, 2025, the club Ultra Cap Esterel in Saint-Raphaël (Var) will be the scene of one event at a time sporty and inclusive : the National Tournament for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, organized by the association Nice Sports and Leisure for the Deaf – Section Padel.

A national event in the heart of the Côte d'Azur

Just one hour from Nice, in the exceptional natural setting of the Cap Esterel estate, this tournament will bring together nearly 100 deaf and hard of hearing players from all over France. Approved by the French Tennis Federation, this event aims to promote the accessibility of padel and to highlight the disabled sports practice on a national level.

Two FFT competitions on the program

  • P250 Men : 72 players divided into 36 teams
  • P100 Women : 24 players divided into 12 teams

A total of 96 competitors who will compete throughout the day in an atmosphere mixing sporting requirements, inclusion and conviviality.

A day designed for everyone

The tournament will also be distinguished by a inclusive and warm organization :

  • Reception supervised by volunteers trained in deafness
  • Onsite et festive closing banquet
  • Moments of sharing between players, their families, spectators and partners

The event is open to the public throughout the day, 8h30 to 21h, and is intended as an example of what the sport for all.
