What if a famous automobile group prepared a big surprise for us in the years to come: a pharaonic club of 40 courts of padel à “Paris, Boulogne-Billancourt in the Hauts-de-Seine (92) or Paris in the first ring ”.

Information to be taken with a grain of salt since the project is still only in its “consultation” phase and the name of the group linked to this project is not yet known.

We wanted to do a little padel fiction. The geographical area sought or found has remained confidential. But we allowed ourselves to project this famous club on a few sites. And one of them particularly interested us. And you will understand why.

Renault and the padel, possible?

Looking more closely, we see as by chance a man at the head of Renault who made history du padel professional with its partnership between Cupra and the World Padel Tour : the former Executive Chairman of the Spanish brand SEAT, Luca de Meo.

It's no secret that the Italian is a lover of this discipline. The padel is a sport he still practices in the Paris region. The automotive group we are talking about could therefore be the one he chairs.

When we see the boom in padel in France, we necessarily say that Renault would have any interest in investing in it especially since it probably still has some interests in Boulogne, on the famous Île Seguin, the former Renault site now demolished.

40 tracks would be a record!

Let’s not ignite. We wanted to please us with this post. And for the moment, there is neither confirmation nor specific information that would validate this project.

This club could be in Paris or just next door, and become an incredible showcase of the padel French. Recall that the old record was held by a club that is now closed:e Sanset in Madrid with 32 indoor tracks.
