Alix Collombon  continues calmly on its way to  FIP Silver Abidjan Associated with the Spanish  Jana Montes The Frenchwoman qualified for the  semi-finals  after a perfectly controlled start to the tournament.

And for now, the pair  Franco-Spanish  leaves little for its opponents.

 Two matches, two demonstrations

For their entry into the competition,  Collombon / Montes  secured a clear victory in  eighth finals  face  Melina Fawaz / Fedaous Bahri  on the score of  6 / 1 6 / 1 .

The same scenario then unfolded in  quarterfinal , with another very clean performance against the  seeded 6 , the Spanish  Ainize Santamaria Landa / Jimena Diaz De La Iglesia swept away as well  6 / 1 6 / 1 .

 Only four games lost

The conclusion is simple:
en  two matches ,  Alix Collombon  and his partner only conceded…  four games .

An ideal start to the tournament, with a lot of control, seriousness and no alerts so far.

A real test in the semi-final

But things are expected to get seriously complicated in the next round.

En  semi final ,  Collombon / Montes  will face the  seeded 3 ,  Letizia Maria Manquillo  et  Laura Lujan Rodriguez They too have been very solid since the start of the tournament.

In other words, it will be the  first real big test  for the Franco-Spanish pair in Ivory Coast.

The match is scheduled for  9am local time i.e  11 p.m. French time , On the  central court .

A potential final against the 1st or 4th seed

If they qualify for the final,  Alix Collombon  could find:

  • be there  seeded 1   Bidahorria / Caparros
  • be there  seeded 4 ,  Fernandez Gonzalez / Guerra Santana

The picture is therefore narrowing, with the most exciting matches now coming up.

 The perfect opportunity to relaunch

After a slightly more  contrasting on the circuit Premier Padel , this tournament of Abidjan  may represent a really good opportunity for  Alix Collombon .

The objective is clear:  regain confidence , string together victories and why not go for a  second FIP Silver title this season , after the one won in  beginning of the year in Caen , at home.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
