Le  P1000 Vamos Padel Magalas  This weekend promises to be particularly busy with a very evenly matched draw and several teams capable of winning the title.

Between announced favorites, experienced pairs and big outsiders, the tournament promises a very good show from the first rounds.

The matches will be broadcast live on  Padel MagTV  from the quarter-finals.

Ayuso / Bayard are the favorites

The top seed will consist of:  Quentin Ayuso  et  Damien Bayard Clearly the favorites for the tournament.

Damien Bayard arrives full of confidence after his title win last week at  P1500 MS Padel Vannes For his part, Quentin Ayuso remains one of the most solid and consistent players on the French circuit. Already a P1000 champion, he will try to win another trophy this weekend.

One interesting tactical detail:

  • Bayard will have to move to the left side of the rink because Ayuso is left-handed and will therefore retain his usual position. This adaptation could be one of the keys to the tournament.

 Jover/Lozano: a very dangerous pair

At the top of series 2, we will find:  Louis Jover  et  Damien Lozano An extremely solid partnership.

Jover brings a huge offensive impact while Lozano perfectly secures the game with his volume of play and his consistency.

The two players already know each other very well, having won the following together:  P1000 Padel Ground Lescar  Last season. Clearly a pair capable of going all the way.

Rubio / Bernard want to create a surprise

The top seed will consist of:  Raphael Rubio  et  Quentin Bernard .

Already crowned this season in P1000, Raphaël Rubio will this time try to give Quentin Bernard his very first title in this format.

Bernard has had several very good performances in recent months and had already narrowly missed out in P100 last season.

They will be among the very serious dark horses of the tournament.

Le Panse / Trancart: experience above all

Leading series 4:  Loïc The Panse  et  Nicolas Trancart.  Two true veterans of French padel.

Their experience could clearly be a significant factor in such a closely contested field. Both players are well-versed in major tournaments and have already won P1000 events this season.

A pair capable of taking down anyone in a match.

 Very serious outsiders behind

Behind the top four seeds, several teams can clearly play spoiler.

These will include:

  •  Marc-Edouard Chavet / Roger Aromi-Siquier  (TS5)
with Roger Aromi-Siquier, former player on the world circuit
  •  Lucien Samitier / Nicolas Boutier  (TS6)
  •  Alexandre Joulé / Thibault Verdier  (TS7)
  •  Alexis Boisselier / Rémi Cuilhe  (TS8)

Very dangerous pairs in a draw where the level of competition appears extremely high.

Also be aware of Marquet / Sola Sala

Among the non-seeded teams to watch very closely:

  •  Rafael Marquet
  •  Alvaro Sola Sala

The Frenchman, a regular on the FIP circuit, plays relatively little on the French circuit but remains extremely dangerous.

Associated to  Alvaro Sola Sala , considered 30 French, this pair could clearly create a big surprise despite their ranking outside the top seeds.

 A very open tournament

With such density and several pairs capable of going the distance, this  P1000 Vamos Padel Magalas  is shaping up to be one of the big French events of the weekend.

And given the expected level of competition, the quarter-finals will be broadcast on  Padel MagTV  They're already promising a huge show.

Final:

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
