Le  P1000 Set Padel   Narbonne  kicks off this weekend with a dense main draw, where several pairs can claim the title.

Favorites

En  seed n ° 1 , we find  Charles Gortzounian and Ludovic Cancel . In full swing, Gortzounian has two finals in P1000 and P1500 last week, where he notably eliminated… Ludovic Cancel in the semi-final (then partnered with Quentin Ayuso), before losing in the final against Bayard / Vincent. The two men find themselves side by side this time, with the firm intention of going all the way.

En  seed n ° 2 , place to  Thibaud Pech and Loïc Le Panse . Two regulars on the French circuit. Pech returns to competition after a quieter period, while Le Panse will play at home, in Narbonne.

La  seed n ° 3  will be occupied by  Nicolas Trancart and Hugo Cazaban , a pair that we see more and more regularly on the P1000 circuit. Already third in a P1000, they will be aiming for a higher step this time.

Finally, the  seed n ° 4  meets  Baptiste Delvienne and Raphaël Rubio . Already winners together in June at the P1000 des Acacias, they remain on a good dynamic, notably Delvienne who won in August at Sète.

Outsiders to watch

Behind these four favorites, several teams ranked in the top 8 could come and play spoilsport:

  •  Tristan Piombo / Pedro Diaz Torregrosa  (TS5),
  •  Lucas Potel / Thomas Basso  (TS6),
  •  Florian Hue / Baptiste Hayet  (TS7),
  •  Julien Pes / Mattis Perrot  (TS8).

Roger Arumi-Siquier is present

Also note the presence of the Spaniard  Roger Arumi-Siquier (192nd in the world) , associated to  Marc-Edou Chavey An atypical pair, which could well shake up the hierarchies.
