SPAIN AS AN EXAMPLE

HOW DOES THE TOURNAMENT WORK?

It is during two days that amateur and professional players will compete to reach the final which will take place on Sunday 28 at 15 p.m. and which will be followed by a cocktail reception for the prizes. During the event, exhibition matches will take place with able-bodied player/wheelchair player pairs. Visitors in wheelchairs will have the opportunity to take part in initiation sessions padel free.

PROMOTING SPORT FOR ALL

Organized with the aim of promoting the practice of padel for people with physical disabilities, the exhibition tournament is a place for discussion and meetings for all. The idea is based on the observation that only 250 people with reduced mobility play tennis in France and only about forty play tennis. padel. This event gives people in wheelchairs the opportunity to discover the padel and to facilitate their access to sport. This testifies to a real desire to create an inclusive and united tournament.

AN APPOINTMENT NOT TO BE MISSED

The tournament will welcome foreign players including some of the best Spanish internationals such as Oscar Agea, multiple world champion in padel, Belgian and Dutch players and potentially English players.

We should also note the presence and support of Sébastien Husser, international wheelchair tennis player. A tennis player since the age of 6, it was in the year 2000 that a bad dive left his legs paralyzed when he hit the bottom of the water. Three months later, he hits the ball again, this time in a wheelchair and he is quickly brought back to competition, becoming one of the best French players, then embarking on the international circuit. Without him, this project could not see the light of day. This is an event open to all, where everyone is welcome!
