The favorites answer the call!

In the women's competition, the hierarchy was respected since the two favourite pairs of the tournament will meet in a final encounter to fight for the title. A Frenchwoman (the veteran of the two finals) and three Spanish women. Carla Toully (28 years) and Anna Dominguez (19 years old) will face Laura Lujan (19 years) and Martha Arellano (18 years).

These two pairs know each other very well since they faced each other less than a week ago, during the previous from Kuwait P1. Slight advantage for the duo Lujan / Arellano who won in two sets: 7 / 5 6 / 3This final will therefore be Kuwait's revenge for Carla Touly and Ana Dominguez!

Three French in the men's final

The surprise of the day comes from the gentlemen's table. Indeed, Maxime Joris (23 years) and Timeo Fonteny (17 years) achieved the feat by beating the number 1 seed : Aitor Garcia and Miguel Angel Solbes. For its first association, the Joris / Fonteny pair is already making headlines in the best possible way.

Be careful though, because tough opponents await them in the final. Indeed, Thomas Leygue (still 22 years for a few days) and Ignatius Piotto (22 years old) won their semi-final earlier in the day against Clément Geens and Dylan Guichard: 7 / 5 6 / 3The 2nd seed will try to take advantage of the elimination of the 1st seed to secure the title.

Due to unpredictable weather in Mauritius, the finals will start a little earlier than expected, at 15h (noon in France). Hostilities will begin with the women's final, followed by the men's final.
