Surprise in the pairs registered for the Malaga P1: Gonzalo Alfonso will team up with Aris Patiniotis.  An unexpected association, especially since the two players recently made it official  new projects with other partners . Alfonso is supposed to start an affair with  Sanyo Gutierrez from Bordeaux , while Patiniotis launches with  Ignatius Sager .

So,  what happened? 

It's hard to say at the moment. What is certain is that  Gonzalo and Aris find themselves aligned together in the Andalusian tournament . A surprising choice, especially regarding Alfonso, who is  indeed registered with Sanyo the previous week in Bordeaux . Something to wonder about:  scheduling problem, temporary unavailability, or simple one-off adjustment? 

So far, there is no information suggesting that Sanyo Gutiérrez is injured or out, but  the announcement of this “intermediate” pair is intriguing . Case to follow…
