This is the cancellation of the women's semifinal at the paddle world championships by pair * (and not by team) because 2 brands have not agreed on the proper dress to wear when semi-final of the Open. You do not understand everything? We will tell you everything.

What happened…

If none of our French pairs have unfortunately been able to go beyond the stage of the 8e finals, which obviously grieves much more, it is the postponement and the "withdrawal" of the Alayeto sisters in this Open for the semi-finals against Sainz and Triay. Why ?

To understand well…

The FEP is sponsored by the BULLPADEL equipment manufacturer.

The ALAYETO sisters and players are sponsored by STARVIE.

If for the team padel world championships, the sisters are obliged to play in BULLPADEL outfit, what about for the parallel pair championship ?!

The arguments of the 2 parties

Admittedly, this is an Open parallel to the world and therefore unrelated to the world, but at the same time each team represents a country and its Federation. Moreover, a pair had to be composed by 2 players of the same nationality.

Our opinion

The 2 arguments are equal. So difficult to form a certain opinion.

On the other hand what we can say is that 2 brands should have handled this case much earlier and not go at the last moment.

Because in the end, we have a broken competition because of these two brands that could not get along.

Thank you for the audience, thank you for the players sometimes come from very far, thank you for the show ...

Recall also when the first semifinal between Amatriain (Head) / Llaguno (Joma / Dunlop) in Salazar (Head) / Marrero (BlackCrown), the players played everything in Spain team outfit, ie Bullpadel.
