Juan Lebrón et Franco Stupaczuk withdrew from the Brussels P2, raising many questions in the world of padel. A decision taken to everyone's surprise, which could well announce the end of their association. However, the two players could still re-register separately by next Friday at 17 p.m., deadline for registrations. The question now is: Who will they play with?
Lebrón – Ruiz, a new association in sight?
Concerning Juan Lebrón, his future seems clearer. The Andalusian player is announced alongside Alex Ruiz, a partner he knows well. But this new agreement raises another question: what will become of Alex Chozas then?, Ruiz's official partner so far?
The young Argentinian Alex Chozas still seems a notch below the required level on the right, especially since he had started the season to the left, and that his move to the right last year with Leo Augsburg had not convinced.
Stupa – Chozas, a hypothesis… favorable to Siux ?
On the side of Franco Stupaczuk, no official information does not yet allow us to know the identity of his possible new teammate. One possibility could be to see him associate with Chozas, if Ruiz engages well with Lebrón.
On the other hand, for the trademark Siux, this scenario would be a nice shot, since both players are part of the brand's fold. Behind the scenes, it is not impossible that Siux push for a temporary association between these two ambassadors, thus constituting a 100% pair Siux on the circuit.
It remains to be seen if Stupa, currently 5rd player in the world, will agree to engage with a player ranked 25th, which would imply lose places in the pairwise classification and drop out of the top 3 pairs, a status he had maintained until now alongside Juan Lebrón.
A wait that remains whole
For the moment, the only public element stay on official withdrawal of the inscription of Stupa and Lebrón at the Belgian tournament. As for the precise reasons for this decision, no statement has been made yet by the main interested parties.
Case to follow.
