A few days before the Málaga P1,  Bea González and Paula Josemaría amused their fans with a video posted on social media. Behind this clip lies a rather unusual bet: if the video goes viral, their coach will have to coach... wearing a wig at the Malaga tournament, held in Bea González's hometown.

A challenge launched amidst the TikTok trend

The world's number 2 pair has embraced the famous trend  "If you want to come, come" , which consists of inviting the public to come and attend an event.

Throughout the video, the two Spanish players showcase the different areas of the Valladolid tournament while repeating the famous phrase. A surprise guest also appears on screen: Alejandra Salazar, whom the two players humorously introduce as  "The best padel player in history" .

But it was the first sentence of the video that particularly caught people's attention.

"We didn't want to make this video, but our coach told us that if it went viral, he would coach in Malaga wearing a wig."

A gamble that could quickly slip away from them

By publicly revealing this promise, Bea González and Paula Josemaría have undoubtedly given their post the perfect ingredient to explode on social media.

Each share and each new view brings their coach a little closer to having to honor his commitment in front of thousands of spectators.

The context makes this gamble even more appealing: if the objective is achieved, the scene will take place during the  Malaga P1 , at home for Bea González. It's hard to imagine a better – or worse – occasion to appear on the bench wearing a wig in front of the Andalusian public.

The verdict will be in a few days.

For now, the gamble seems to be paying off. The video continues to circulate on social media and is generating a lot of reactions among fans.

It remains to be seen whether it will reach the level of virality set by the coach. If so, Málaga P1 spectators could witness an unexpected and amusing scene on the Spanish duo's bench.
