El Padel It's Asia  sounds the alarm to protect the legacy of professional padel. With the deletion of the video archives of the 10 years of World Padel Tour by Premier Padel, an essential part of the history of this sport could disappear forever.  Premier Padel , circuit managed by Qatar Sports Investments (Al-Khelaïfi) with the participation of the  International Federation of Padel  chaired by the Italian  Luigi Carraro , was born in 2022. Its objective was clear: to compete with the  World Padel Tour (WPT) , then leader of professional padel. In 2024, Premier Padel absorbed the WPT, becoming a monopoly in the world of padel.

However, Premier Padel did not just seek to dominate. He decided to erase all traces of the World Padel Tour :  key moments, iconic figures, significant events The erasure reached its peak when videos tracing the 10-year history of the WPT on YouTube were  made private , depriving padel enthusiasts of these priceless memories.

 Inaccessible memories 

Historic moments are now  invisible Including:

  •  The Tears of Martin Di Nenno , after his return to the courts following a serious accident: “I just wanted to play padel again.”
  •  The last match of Juan Martín Díaz and Fernando Belasteguín , padel legends.
  •  The first Spanish number 1s , Juan Lebrón and Paquito Navarro.
  •  The debut of the current number 1 pair , Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello, with their first titles.
  •  The epic women's final of the Master 2022 , where Alejandra Salazar consoled a devastated Ari Sánchez after taking the number 1 title from him.
  •  The consecration of Paula Josemaría and Ari Sánchez , who dominated the following season.
  •  The memorable Vigo 2023 final , where Coello and Tapia dethroned Lebrón and Galán.
  •  The first professional title for two young prodigies , Martita Ortega and Ari Sánchez, both of whom later became number 1.
  •  The legacy of iconic players  such as the Sánchez Alayeto twins, Carolina Navarro, Pablo Lima, Juani Mieres, Patty Llaguno, Eli Amatriaín, Willy Lahoz, Ceci Reiter, Maxi Sánchez, Sanyo Gutiérrez, Ale Salazar, Marta Marrero, Miguel Lamperti and many others.

These memories are not just matches.  They are the foundations of a sport that today aspires to become Olympic. 

 A call for mobilization 

This deletion raises a fundamental question:  Why erase a decade of passion and memories?  These archives belong to  all padel lovers , present and future.

The petition, launched by "El Padel "It's Asian," asks Premier Padel to make these videos accessible again. This heritage, currently buried,  constitutes an inalienable part of the history of padel. 

 Give us back the emotion, the memories, what belongs to us.  Let's not forget where we come from.

 Act before it's too late 

Padel fans are invited to  sign the petition  before these videos are permanently deleted. Each signature is a step towards preserving this precious heritage.
