Faced with the rapid growth of padel in France, infrastructure needs are evolving. Among the recent innovations, a padel court  freestanding  designed in France, it attracts the interest of clubs wishing to quickly install a reliable structure, without heavy foundations.

This model, developed by the  SAE Group , is based on a self-supporting design incorporating a reinforced galvanized steel peripheral belt in the corners. A technical choice which allows a  easy installation , particularly for temporary or renovation sites.

"Our goal was to design a robust structure that would be quick to assemble and would not require complex civil engineering work," explains a technical representative of the SAE Group.

A design focused on performance and durability

The land combines  galvanized steel and aluminum , with metal panels fitted into slides to ensure rigidity. This modular architecture, compliant with European standards, allows for secure assembly.

"We focused on assembly precision to ensure optimal playing quality from the very first balls," emphasizes one of the project's engineers.

In terms of glazing, the field is equipped with  10 mm tempered glass panels , compliant with EN-12150-2 and EN-14179-2 standards. The interfaces are treated with specific seals (polymer + EPDM) to absorb vibrations and protect the material over time.

Lighting and coating suitable for competition

Lighting is provided by  four six-meter masts , equipped with powerful LED projectors (320W, 50 lumens), providing uniform lighting of 000 lux.

"The lighting is designed for competitions, with a secure cabinet and cables integrated into the structure for a clean look," the manufacturer explains.

Le  synthetic grass  The chosen model is a semi-sanded model, rated ITF 3, with loose installation and calibrated silica filling. A solution that prioritizes speed and rebound, while remaining easy to maintain.

A reflection on safety and longevity

The land integrates  four access doors , positioned on the axis, as well as a system of  tension integrated into the net , ensuring stability and ergonomics.

Guarantees are provided:  10 years on the structure ,  5 years on the grass ,  3 years on glazing , and a lifespan of  30 hours for projectors .

If the solution is now appealing to several clubs and communities, it is because it meets a real need for flexibility.

"We're seeing strong demand for quality land that can be developed quickly, without the usual constraints. This project is a concrete response to that," concludes the SAE Group representative.
