USDax Tennis Padel continues to structure itself and establish itself as a key player in the practice of padel in the Landes. On July 15, the club reached a new milestone with the inauguration of its brand new clubhouse, an investment of more than 400 euros supported by the city of Dax and the support of the multi-sport club.

Installed in December 2023, the  three indoor padel courts  have allowed the club to open a new dynamic section, which is experiencing rapid development. From now on, players benefit from new and functional spaces , with a main room equipped with a large screen, a relaxation area, a small restaurant and  modern changing rooms with showers .

In the medium term, the club is even preparing to welcome a  new discipline: pickleball . Thanks to the involvement of young club members, USDax was awarded the  Citizen participatory budget of Landes , which will allow the creation of  four pickleball lanes  on old mini-tennis.

This dynamic around padel was also illustrated during the  Masters P250 des Landes , organized on June 29th on the club's three tracks. The competition crowned a 100% local pair:  Fabrice Grandmougin and Fabien Laussucq , become  Landes padel champions .

The inauguration of the clubhouse coincided with the  Sourcéo tournament , another of the club's flagship events. While the youth finals were played on July 19, the adults will compete on July 23 with a strong field. Among the headliners, we find  Martin Sabas (French No. 96)  et  Jonathan Eysseric (No. 100, ex No. 21 in the world) . For the ladies,  Naïa Mercadier ,  Julie Bousseau  et  Clémence Thouard (-2/6)  should compete for the title.

With its indoor courts, new infrastructure and a real policy of openness towards modern racket sports,  USDax Tennis Padel confirms its desire to be at the forefront of the development of padel in the Landes .
