The 2020 French Seniors Championships Padel break down into 2 or even 3 phases, according to the organization specific to each League:

  • A qualifying phase at the Regional Championship, organized by department or geographical area. This phase is not required, is organized by some committees. This phase, if it exists, is qualifying for the Regional Championship. The dates of these qualifying phases are determined by the League and must take place at the latest on the weekend of 15 and 16 June

  • The Regional Championship, qualifying for the French Championship, take place in all leagues the weekend of 22 and 23 June
  • The 2019 French Championship will take place on September 27, 28 and 29, 2019 at Club CASA PADEL (Ile de France League). 24 women's teams and 24 men's teams will participate in the French Championship.

The French Seniors Championships Padel are open to players:

  • French nationality,
  • FFT licensees, in the same League, for the current sports year, and whose date of attachment of the license meets the deadline conditions set by the League to participate in the Regional Championship (or phase qualifying at the Regional Championship)
  • whose license certificate specifies the mention "Authorized competition",
  • belonging to the age group 17 years old or above.

The events of the French Championships do not distribute prize money.

The Senior French Championships are held under the formula of a Multi-Chance Tournament at 24 teams.

All teams are ranked from 1 to 24 at the end of the competition.

All matches are played in the 1 format (traditional format, 2 sets to 6 games)

The final phase of the French Championships is assimilated -in terms of points- to a P 2000 (no prize money in the French Championship).

The Referee of the French Championships is appointed by the FFT Arbitration Department.
