Le  Valladolid Premier Padel P2  has closed a new chapter in its history on the  Plaza Mayor An iconic venue for professional padel for twenty years. An edition marked by very fast conditions, oppressive heat, a few surprises, but above all two finals controlled by the winners.

In the ladies,  Paula Josemaría / Bea González  have dominated  Ari Sánchez / Andrea Ustero In men,  Arturo Coello / Agustín Tapia  confirmed their return to the top against  Ale Galán / Fede Chingotto .

Josemaría / González get the machine running again

The women's final had a truly special feel to it. For the first time,  Paula Josemaría  found  Ari Sánchez  in the final since their separation, after having formed one of the greatest pairs in the history of women's padel: two seasons as world number 1, a world title and  44 titles together .

This time, it's good  Josemaría / González  who took control, with a clear victory  6 / 4 6 / 2 . A match that wasn't always spectacular, marked by fast conditions and many errors, but a final perfectly managed by the world's number 2 players.

The main difference lay in their ability to better manage crucial moments. Josemaría and González were cleaner, more consistent, and above all, more effective when it came to turning the tide of games. On the other side,  Sánchez / Ustero  lacked clarity of thought, with a  Andrea Ustero  less inspired than on previous rounds.

This title is good for Josemaría/González. After a series of  five consecutive titles  At the start of the season, they hadn't lifted a trophy since  Buenos Aires In Valladolid, they are reviving their momentum and continuing to put pressure on  Triay / Brea eliminated in the semi-finals for the second time in a row.

Sánchez / Ustero are still in the running

Even though their final was unsuccessful,  Ari Sánchez and Andrea Ustero  They leave Valladolid with a positive result. They beat the world number ones again.  Triay / Brea  in the semi-finals, after having already dominated them the previous week in Valencia.

Since joining forces, Sánchez and Ustero have progressed rapidly. The duo has already won  two titles Premier Padel  This season, they continue to establish themselves at the very highest level. But this final also served as a reminder that they still have a step to take to maintain this level in major competitions until the very end.

Coello / Tapia, the law of the number 1

In the men's competition, the final offered a new chapter in the current classic:  Coello/Tapia vs. Galán/Chingotto . The  37th Superclásico  between the two pairs, and already the fifth consecutive this season.

But once again, the world number ones struck hard. Victory  6 / 4 6 / 3 , in just  1:04 , in a final that was controlled from start to finish.

The match started with very little going on, but Coello and Tapia knew when to step up the pace. Break at  5/4  in the first set, then another takeover in the second. Simple, precise, effective.

 Agustín Tapia  has returned to a very high level, particularly in his smash, while Arturo Coello At home, he played his part perfectly. The Valladolid native thus wins a  third consecutive home title , a powerful symbol for someone who continues to write his story in front of his audience.

Chingotto diminished, Galán too alone

Opposite,  Galan / Chingotto  They didn't perform at their best. Galán tried to carry the pair, but  Fede Chingotto  He appeared diminished throughout the weekend. Already suffering from physical problems in the preceding days, the Argentinian again required assistance during the final.

In these fast-paced conditions, where responsiveness and precision are essential, this inevitably took its toll. Galán and Chingotto made too many unforced errors to hope to upset such a solid pair.

The dynamics have clearly changed. At the start of the season, Galán/Chingotto had taken the lead, notably with a very clear victory at  Buenos Aires . But since,  Coello / Tapia  have strung together three consecutive victories in this duel and are clearly regaining the upper hand.

The statistic is significant:  Coello and Tapia haven't lost an away match in over a year. Their last outdoor defeat dates back to... Italy Major 2025 , already facing Galán / Chingotto.

In Valladolid, despite very fast conditions, they confirmed that they remain the benchmark. They also retain the lead in the  Race 2026 , with a lead that counts before arriving in Bordeaux.

In the ladies,  Josemaría / González  regain a dynamic share of the title  Sánchez / Ustero  confirm their status as a pair in form despite their disappointing final performance, while  Triay / Brea  are going through a slightly less dominant period.

At men's,  Coello / Tapia  seem to have returned to their best form. Their victory in Valladolid, added to their recent titles, shows a pair once again very confident in their strength. Behind them,  Galan / Chingotto  remain extremely consistent, but will have to find solutions to regain the upper hand.

The Plaza Mayor has closed its doors, but the circuit continues. Next stop:  Bordeaux Premier Padel P2 with leaders arriving with momentum, vengeful pursuers, and a hierarchy more animated than ever.
