Aitor Garcia and Andrés Britos win the Oasis Open Padel Club in Reunion and offer themselves a second consecutive victory on the island, after their success as #1 seeded last week during theOpen Tires Cash au Reunion Island Padel Club.

This time, in the final of theOasis Padel Club, a tournament with €8 prize money, the French pair Thomas Vanbauce / Jérôme Inzerillo appeared much closer in level than in their previous encounter. This was thus another final between the seed n ° 1 and seed n ° 2.

Si Jerome Inzerillo had seemed too worn out last week to hope to compete with the favourite pair, this time the French had opportunities but failed to convert them. Like the match ball, Vanbauce and Inzerillo may have some regrets, but it remains encouraging since they had the necessary weapons to take their opponents into a third set undecided.

Garcia / Britos has nevertheless been able to demonstrate seriousness in the tie-breaker of the second set (like the first!), thus avoiding a third act in front of a public acquired to the cause of the French. Final victory for Garcia / Britos: 7/6 7/6.

This defeat will be difficult to digest, but Thomas Vanbauce and Jérôme Inzerillo can be satisfied with their level of play against players whose level is close to the world top 100.

More globally, Réunion has once again demonstrated all its potential in padel, with two great events organized by the Reunion Island Padel Club and Oasis Padel Club, as well as a constantly improving level of play among local players. This is not a surprise, and all that remains is to make an appointment next year for a new reunion tour.
