Le women's circuit Premier Padel announces a new association: Veronica Virseda et Alejandra Salazar will play together for the season 2025 This collaboration marks a turning point for the two players, who will aim to become among the best on the circuit.
An association announced by Virseda
It was Veronica Virseda who made this new step official via her social networks:
“Happy to announce that Alejandra Salazar and I will join forces to get the best out of this team under the direction of Cristian Gutiérrez. A new season that I approach with the same desire as my beginnings in this sport, and in which I will continue working to achieve our common goals.”
This announcement demonstrates the Spanish player's determination to establish herself at the top of the rankings, supported by an experienced partner like Alejandra Salazar.
A second attempt together
This will not be the first time that these two players share the field. 2024 , they had played three tournaments together (Genoa, Malaga and Finland) replacing Tamara Icardo , then injured. Their best performance was a semi-final in Finland and quarters in Genoa.
However, this time the approach will be different: with complete preparation from the pre-season , the objective will be to build competitive dynamics and aim for titles during the year.
A solid framework to aim high
The pair will be coached by Cristian Gutiérrez , an experienced coach. With this collaboration, Veronica Virseda and Alejandra Salazar will start the season in the Top 8 and hope to measure themselves against the best pairs on the circuit, notably those in the Top 3.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
