After several weeks of tension and silence, registrations for the Brussels P2 (April 20-27, 2025) suggest a clearing on the circuit Premier PadelSeveral major figures of the circuit, until now in the background, have confirmed their presence, perhaps marking the beginning of the end of the boycott launched by a part of the professional players.
Among the most striking inscriptions, we find Juan Lebrón et Franco Stupaczuk, pair n°3 global. But they are not the only ones. The pair Coki Nieto / Mike Yanguas, semi-finalists in Miami and Santiago, also makes its return to a category tournament P2 after ignoring previous editions.
Their participation could represent a turning point in the conflict opposing a part of the players to the International Federation of Padel (FIP).
Other notable pairs are added to the list, such as Javier Barahona / Javier Garcia, Federico Mourino / Antonio Fernández, Or the Deus brothers, bringing the number of players to around fifteen Top 100 already registered.

La registration deadline is set at 11th April, but current signals suggest that the ranks will continue to grow. This tournament in Brussels could thus become a symbol of reconciliation between players and authorities, and a return to a more united dynamic for the rest of the season.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
