It could be that, from the start of the school year in September, the  coaching  be authorized in  P250, P100 and lower categories . For the moment, nothing official, but this development could meet the expectations of many players and coaches who are campaigning for coaching to be opened up to all tournament categories.  French Tennis Federation (FFT)  has not yet specified the details of this possible authorization, but discussions are underway.

Eric Largeon , elected official in charge of padel, suggested that this possibility was being considered. However, no official decision has yet been taken. The FFT still has to conduct a  internal work  to study a possible change in the regulations, which currently limit the  coaching  to tournaments  P500 and more .

Supporters of this opening believe that  The players in the lower categories are precisely those who would need it most . For them, allowing the presence of a  coach or a friend  to analyze a match could be a valuable asset for the  beginner players .

In the  paddle , coaching on the bench is an integral part of the game. On the professional circuit, it is common to see pairs accompanied by a  coach , especially when changing ends. This practice is similar to what exists in other sports, such as  Football , where the coach gives his instructions throughout the match.

It remains to be seen whether the  FFT will convert the test  and will authorize the  coaching in recreational tournaments . Answer in a few months.
