This weekend, the Five of Créteil offered their first P100. It was even the first tournament of padel of its history for the Five centers. We will remember that Sylvain Gimenez and Sandy Rakotondramanga won this first in the center of the Five.

Yet it was far from simple because some pairs were hoping to win this tournament ... Even if favorites would inevitably fall in the pool matches.

Hen B: Hen of death

Indeed in Pool B, we found ourselves with: including Fred Burelli / Jordan Azria, Fabien Timbert / Greg Garcin and Guillaume Oliveira / Vincent Desnos. A hen of 4 for 2 places.

The matches are hooked including the first where The Burelli / Azria pair snatch the 9-8 win (7-5 in tiebreak) against Timbert / Garcin.

For its part, Oliveira / Desnos starts perfectly against the Roullier / Cartier pair. Accurate and effective they win their match 9-2.

They also confirm against the Burelli / Azria certainly blunted their first match.

The last match match of the pool is epic. The pair of Creteil is solid and thinks to hold their first victory by leading 8-6 service to follow. They even have a match point at 40A but can not convert it. Fred and Jordan take the opportunity to pick up the score and snatch the meeting at tie-break (7-2).

It is nevertheless insufficient to qualify for the finals despite his two wins.

An unprecedented final in a tournament

Fabien Timbert / Greg Garcin returns to one of the favorite pairs of the tournament: Sylvain Gimenez and Sandy Rakotondramanga.

The final begins with an entry break, sylvain being surprised by the aggressiveness of returns. After the break confirmed, The Sylvain / Sandy pair accelerates and becomes more and more precise. They blame their opponent of the day to complete the first set 6-3. The second set is more balanced but Fabien and Gregory can not stand out and make the difference. Sylvain and Sandy offer the title in two sets after 45 minutes of play.
