Final day in Marbella on a beautiful sunny Sunday.

From 10:00 a.m., we were able to attend the meeting between two surprising teams at the start of the year:

Patricia Llaguno - Virginia Riera face Ariana Sanchez et Paula Josemaria.

Ariana Sanchez defends a baseline ball

After a little over an hour of play it was the Spaniards who won without much difficulty with a score of 6-2 / 6-3.

Ari et Paula have continued to deploy a very offensive game, leaving no chance to their opponents throughout this competition. Once again they were present during all their meetings and proved that they were contenders for the number 1 place.

Already crowned at the first WPT of the year in Madrid and finalists in Alicante, the two young players then disappointed in the north of Spain. In Marbella, they regain a good dose of confidence thanks to this new title and are now the only pair to have won two tournaments in girls in 2021.

They will try to confirm at the next meeting, scheduled in Valladolid, from June 19 to 27, 2021.

If you were unable to enjoy the final on Youtube this morning, we leave you the summary of this match between these four machines of padel.
