For several months, seniors have stepped up to the plate to obtain a circuit of padel SENIOR. Well now there will be a circuit for seniors at padel : Vintage Padel Tour.

Vintage Padel Tour was created last September and its main objective is to organize tournaments of Padel over 45. This initiative was born thanks to 2 Toulouse residents involved in the Padel for many years, Fred ARANDA and Laurent COMBES.

With the help of a few partners in the region, the Vintage Padel Tour will offer for this season a circuit in Occitanie with 5 or 6 stages.

Firster stage took place at the HERS club in Saint Orens de Gameville, 16 teams were present over 2 days with a group format on Saturday and in a table for Sunday. The matches were played in 9 games and the main draw final in 2 sets. This first edition had a particular connotation since we created the first CENTENARIOS tournament, the teams over 45 had to total 100 years and over to 2!

The Tournament was won in 3 sets (super tie-break) by the pair (of 104 years) Franck VILLEMAGNE-François KIRCH (HERS) against the pair (of 103 years) Fred ARANDA-Olivier DISBEAUX (THE HERS ).

It was a real success, a gentleman's atmosphere and an exceptional sporting commitment throughout the tournament. A players' evening was offered by the organizers and it was a real moment of conviviality. To do again!

The next steps will be implemented in ALBI, TOULOUSE (TPC, PADEL TOLOSA, STADE TOULOUSAIN) and CAP D'AGDE ...

Following a meeting with the national delegate of Padel at the French Tennis Federation, some stages will be homologated in P100 and the existence of an official veteran classification should emerge soon, the old ones are still there and the Padel continues to develop!
