TheNational Audiovisual Institute dust off its archives to discover or rediscover past events. Sources ofinspiration for sport.

This archive dates back to 1984. Nothing to do with the padel, it's dance. The goal was to dance for 48 hours with a few minutes break to eat. An exceptional physical performance where everyone could participate.

The experience no longer exists today but maybe we could find some marathons from padel soon. Team matches lasting 48 hours or even matches that would be played over a predefined time.

Imagine a city like that of Le Mans which already hosts the 24 hours car, motorcycle, karting, but also rollerblading or even cyclist, turning towards the 24 hours padel. An idea to explore, no?

In any case we leave you with the archive of the INA and its dance marathon; exceptional.
