There comes a time in every player's life to padel, where we think we're ready for our first tournament. Do you have a competitive spirit? Are you a good partner for your comrade? It all counts during the trials of padel.

It's very easy to think about competing with other players, and really seeing where your own level is.

To start registering for tournaments padel, there are several things that can be taken into account to determine if we are ready for our first tournament.

The level of the tournament

Le padel is a lot more fun if we win (logic). So, in your first tournament, make sure you are facing people of your level, that there is a group stage for the novices. For example, instead of attempting a P500 or P1000, start with a P100.

An experienced pair

The choice of partner in the padel is a complicated question. For these type of tournaments, if you can, take someone who already has experience in tournaments of padel. It will help you explain how it works, the scores, the details to learn how to warm up with your opponent, to manage the important moments of the match, the tactics, etc.

Plus, if you already know how to go about it and your rivals don't realize it's your first time, even better. This way you will avoid falling into one of the classics at padel : send the most balls to the weak player. Your physical condition will thank you.

Price

It can also seem interesting when deciding whether or not to participate in a tournament. For your first tournament, try to enjoy the tournament, see how things work. To give you an idea, the registration for a tournament is today between 20 € and 30 € with the assurance of making at least 2 to 3 matches (depending on the tournament).

Do not forget to have fun

There are players who know how to play very well, very complementary, but who never win tournaments. And that's normal so imagine if this is your first tournament.

Sign up, and already start enjoying. The important thing is to play and therefore have fun!
