Become coach or look for a trainer who looks like you is not that easy. We will help you in your search.

Trainer, instructor, coach, call your teacher whatever you want. There are all types of monitors padel and we are not necessarily going to detail all their character traits but rather guide you according to the way you train.

In order to keep it clear to you, we will detail three types of trainers; maybe you will recognize yourself or someone you will think of?

  • The purist

The purist is that type of trainer who recites the lesson learned in the instructor's school and in the training books. No place for “different” players who come from another sport, here we play padel. Very often, these instructors start their first lesson with snowshoeing. If you want to become a player of padel pure and hard, this type of monitor is for you. These coaches are very good at young players, children, who are new to sport. With them, it's a bit like learning music; first the music theory then we move on to the instrument.

  • The top player

This is not always the case, but top level players, or high level players who teach padel are people who often offer training focused on their way of seeing the game. For example, if this player is a great defender, he will suggest that you keep the ball as long as possible in the field by looking for specific areas that will hamper your opponents. At net, you will not be aggressive but rather in the construction ...

So when you are looking for a coach and have the opportunity to train with a top player, usually this is the name that appeals to you. You will probably be working on the moves that make you like this player, and there is a good chance that he will teach you the padel which allowed him to reach this level.

  • The one who never stops learning

It is the instructor who seeks all the time to evolve, he questions himself and always seeks the best for you and your game. In order to achieve this type of behavior, he had to accumulate hours of lessons, Experience, analysis. It is a complete instructor who will know how to listen to you when you want to work on a particular move, and who will know how to guide you in your progress to “play” and quickly access the track. With him you will discover “your” own padel. A master of sorts.

All types of instructors are potentially good coaches. It's up to you to decide which type you want to turn to. You can of course opt for the first comer, especially if there are few monitors near you. But if you have the choice, take the time to see from the edge of the track the workouts offered to understand which instructor will make you progress the most.
