From 16 to 18 May 2025, P2000 WinWin Cabriès promises to be one of the highlights of the French padel season. For both the women's and men's competitions, the field is strong and promises many close matches. With several serious contenders for the titles, this tournament could hold its share of surprises. A look at the strengths present before the draw.
A very open female painting
In the ladies, Jennifer Denechez et Laurine Bergaud will be the #1 seeded of the tournament, in front Deborah Alquier et Nada Majdoubi, seeded No. 2.
But undeniably, when we look at the top eight seeds, we see that the general level is particularly tight. It therefore seems difficult to announce favorites in this competition.
The pair Ligi / Bahurel would obviously like surprise in this tournament. These two players, who have already tasted theFrance team, will certainly be keen to get noticed by the coach.
Also to watch closely: Charlotte Soubrié et Emilie LoitThe 5th French player will be associated with theformer tennis champion Emilie Loit, 30th French in the padel ranking but above all considered as subclassified. Both players could well create some damage in this competition.
We will also see the return of the association Barla / Lambert Agosti, which however appears slightly behind the best pairs entered in this tournament.
Clear favorites but stiff competition among the men
In gentlemen, Max Forcin et Benjamin Tison will be, as expected, the big favorites of the competition, in the absence of the best French players involved in the circuit FIP.
Undefeated since the start of the season, and after their demonstration at the P2000 from Lyon, they seem difficult to worry.
However, be careful Yoan Boronad et Timeo Fonteny : on a good day, they can cause problems for any pair.
The pair Thomas Seux / Nathan Courrin, currently growing in Spain and on the FIP Tour, will also be one to watch very closely. Their recent work could well pay off here.
Among the other well-known faces on the French circuit, we will find:
- Pierre Perez Le Tiec / Damien Lozano
- Jeremy Garcia / Alexis Coulombeau
- Benoît Théard / Thibaud Pech
- Nicolas Molinero / Alexandre Toppin
- Ludo Cancel / Morgan Mannarino
Without forgetting Yanis Muesser / Olivier Guy de Chamisso, impressive winners of the P1000 of the Pyramids last week, present in pair n°9 of the tournament.
Finally, be wary too:
- With Julien Seurin / Adrien Dandois in seed 10,
- Et Adrien Maigret / Yann Auradou in seed 12,
The surprises are clearly possible in this male painting.
Note that Tom Basso et Jeremy Robert, young players on the rise, will also be present with real ambitions.
