Combining padel and golf in the same facility has proven to be a winning model. So, how can a golf club benefit from padel courts?

It would not occur to anyone to juxtapose in the same sentence  two sports as different as the Padel and Golf  : on one side a 20×10 m cage where a more dynamic and unpredictable tennis is played, on the other an endless lawn dotted with holes that must be hit with surgical precision.

And yet, lately, despite the obvious differences in technique, target audience and market, these two sports are finding incredible ways to coexist in the same space.

In this article, we will explore this same question, focusing on  Why and how can a golf club benefit from padel courts?  within it, also bringing you a recent project in which we were involved last week as a case study.

Why to build padel courts in a Golf Club?

 1. Ample space available  : in a golf club, space is certainly not a problem and it will therefore not be difficult to find a location for one or more padel courts which will benefit from an environment rich in greenery and trees, far from the urban chaos of built-up areas, making it a perfect location without needing to buy or rent another plot of land.

 2. New form of entertainment for golf club members and their companions  The trend of combining golf with a parallel and different activity is not new. As we know, a round of golf can last several hours, which is why the golf club becomes a place where golfers and their companions spend a lot of time; therefore, having another form of entertainment to enjoy after (for golfers) and during the round (for their companions) can become an added value for the golf club.

3.  A source of attraction for new players  The juxtaposition of two such different sports, although it may seem like a gamble, can on the contrary prove to be an excellent strategy to bring padel enthusiasts closer to the world of golf and vice versa, and all this inevitably translates into a greater source of income for club owners, who will thus be able to count on a greater differentiation of the sporting offer for their potential customers.

This project, born from the partnership with the group  Sportek This is undoubtedly a great source of pride, both because of the historical nature of the sports complex and because we are among the first padel court manufacturers to have capitalized on the trend of Padel-Golf.

“We have always been looking for an innovative product of the highest quality, capable of delivering the best in terms of performance and safety, so the choice could only fall on NXPadel and its fiberglass courts. The installation was very easy and the end result is perfect.”

These are the words of Oscar vega , CEO of Sportek, who, with his team, completed the work in less than a week, with the help of our supervisors.

What more is there to add? We hope this is just the beginning and that, in the coming months, we will see many more projects in which Padel Golf and golf complement each other, enrich each other, and contribute to the growth of the entire ecosystem. Padel.

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
