The women's final  Premier Padel Gijon P2  will offer a very high-level lineup between  world number 1 Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea  and the pair  Ariana Sánchez / Andrea Ustero (TS3) A particularly anticipated confrontation, since it involves  of the second consecutive duel between these two pairs .

During their last encounter, played at  Riyadh Season P1 , Those are  Sánchez and Ustero who had won  at the end of a spectacular match  6/3 1/6 6/4 .

 Triay/Brea in search of a new title 

The world number ones continue their impressive consistency. The pair  Triay/Brea will contest its sixth consecutive final confirming his dominance on the circuit in recent months.

Despite this consistency, they remain  looking for a new title their last title dating back to  Rotterdam P1 in October 2025 This final in Gijón therefore represents another opportunity to transform their consistency into a trophy.

This season also marks  a new step for the pair , with the arrival of  Seba Nerone as coach , who makes his debut on the bench after several years of collaboration between Triay and Rodri Ovide.

 Sánchez / Ustero confirm their momentum 

Opposite,  Ariana Sanchez and Andrea Ustero  They continue to impress since their partnership. The two Spanish players compete  their second final together confirming their excellent start to the season.

Before this final, their record on the circuit  Premier Padel 2025 is perfect with 7 wins and no losses , proof of the strength of their duo.

A victory would allow them  to reduce the ranking gap with the world's best pairs , even if that would not yet be enough to overturn the current hierarchy.

 Solid backgrounds 

On paper, the confrontation promises an interesting clash of styles.

The journeys to the final confirm the strength of both pairs.
Triay and Brea notably eliminated  Barreras / Velasco  and  Ortega / Calvo  and in the semi-finals  Icardo / Jensen  while Sánchez and Ustero gained the upper hand on  Virseda / Guinart ,  Caldera / Goenaga  et  Josemaria / Gonzalez. 

 A highly anticipated rematch 

This final is therefore shaping up to be...  a direct rematch of the Riyadh duel The world's number one players will try to  take their revenge  and to confirm their status, while  Sánchez and Ustero  will have the opportunity to make another big impact.

One thing is sure:  Gijón P2 could offer another spectacular battle between two of the most in-form pairs at the moment.
