On Alghanim Court, Sofía Araujo / Andrea Ustero delivered one of the most intense matches of the day by dominating Alejandra Salazar / Martina Calvo after a standoff lasting more than two and a half hours: 6/4 5/7 6/2.

After winning the first set thanks to a break they held until the end, Araujo and Ustero saw their opponents fight back, particularly effective at the end of the second set.
