After the ladies, Franck Binisti puts himself in the shoes of the men's coach to try to form the France team which will leave for the next worlds of padel in Qatar.

The French team men: Maigret or not?

1 to 4: Bergeron / Tison and Leygue / Blanqué showed during the French championships that they were today the two best French pairs. They will obviously be in the France group. Note that Thomas Leygue was at one point in waivers especially after the European Championships of padel. He came back stronger than ever.

5: Jérémy Scatena: one of the pillars of the France team. Admittedly, its performance is irregular. Certainly he was not at the French Championships. But it remains a centerpiece of the France team. The former top 100 of the WPT has everything to make a very big world in Qatar.

6 - Max Moreau: we've been talking about Max for several months in our predictions. And we are wrong every time! Already during the Marbella Championships, we put it there. Well, we are renewing the Max Moreau card. His level of play is really very interesting for the France team. On the APT, it performs very well, even if the results are not yet up to expectations.

7 - Adrien Maigret: he is having a complicated season. In terms of play, he is irregular and sometimes even a little absent. He seems less motivated to us. His behavior is perhaps even “almost borderline” at times. And it shows on the ground. But a Maigret remains a Maigret!

If Adrien can regain the confidence and quite simply this desire to play then there is no doubt that he will be part of the France team. In reality, this selection depends only on him and it is a safe bet that the coach had to discuss at length with the Parisian to make his final choice.

His aggressiveness on the pitch makes him an atypical player in this team. He could be the perfect wild card player. We also know, Adrien can play on the right. And maybe we will even see him in the future doing freelance work on the right. This will be the case for example at the next P2000 in Toulouse Padel Club alongside Jérémy Scatena. Too bad that this association does not take place until the end of October.

Peyrou / Inzerillo / Authier: who to take?

First of all, if the coach believes that Adrien is not ready for the adventure in Qatar, we have 2 places left. Impossible for me to dissociate these 3 players, so I allow myself to take my famous usual joker.

JT Peyrou: how not to say bravo for his progress and his irreproachable state of mind. Remember during the European Championships of Padel in Marbella against Denmark… JT makes news: a warrior on the ground. But he also knows how to put himself at the service of the outside team to put the team's favorites in the best conditions. And in a team beyond the level, it counts!

Jérôme Inzérillo: an aggressive style, capable of playing very well. He proved it again alongside Britos during the P2000 of the Pyramids. What more can we say: he will be an indisputable force in the France team.

François Authier: a discreet player, but with a fairly exceptional consistency in the game. Able to play on the left as on the right, we can see him making his first appearance in the France team for this world.

And why not, the chef's surprise with Loïc Le Panse? If you doubt him and the level of play he can offer then direction Youtube.

For both ladies and gentlemen, the competition is tough. Apart from Alix and Léa, a dozen players stand. And the choice of the coach will depend on his strategy, association of players, life in the group.

Among the men, in my opinion 5 players seem certain to be in the French team. However, there are 3 places left. Max Moreau, should be the indisputable 6th player. For the last two places, so there, we wish the coach Alexis Salles a lot of courage.
