It's the first time in nearly a year that we haven't had a final with four players of the same nationality in a men's Open or Masters World Padel Tour !

It's simple, during the finals of the last 18 Open or Masters of the World Padel Tour, there were each time at least two nationalities represented. If the players present at this stage of the competition always come from three countries: Argentina, Brazil, and Spain, it is rare for four nationals of the same country to meet in the final. Last year it only happened twice.

In fact, the last time that happened was in Valladolid last June, and Lucho Capra and Maxi Sanchez were already there. The Argentines had then won their only title together, with Juan Tello and Federico Chingotto. This Sunday, Lucho and Maxi will cross swords with their compatriots Sanyo Gutiérrez and Agustin Tapia, fallers of Chingotto/Tello in the semi-finals.

Incredibly enough, there were no Spaniards in the semi-finals of this Danish Padel Open for gentlemen! With seven players present in the last four, Argentina has therefore clearly got their hands on this Danish open, it now remains to be seen which will be the sacred pair this Sunday in Copenhagen.
