Fiona Ligi and Diana Silva won their first round of the preprevias of the World Padel Tour of Marbella this afternoon, after a very tough match.

We knew it wouldn't be easy for Fiona and Diana in the face of Carlota Casali and Almudena Tore Garcia, a more experienced and catchy pair. In a very tight first set, the Italo-Spanish pair, more solid in hot moments, prevails 7/5.

But Ligi / Silva is not let down, and with an almost entry break, the Franco-Portuguese pair gradually takes the measure of his opponent. She wins the second set 6/2, not without having trembled on some decisive points.

The third is also very hooked, like the first set. Conditions are difficult, wind, sun, the points last. Fiona and Diana are doing break at 1/1 but break immediately.
