Start of the main draw today on the World Padel Tour Marbella Master with the first part of the Round of 1.

As this tournament is a Master, all the seeds start in the Round of 1, which means that they are played over two days for the men.

While for the girls, the second round of the preprevias begins this morning, for the men it is the matches of the final table that are starting to be played out!

The return of Tello / Chingotto?

Beginning of hostilities from 10:00 a.m. with on one side Juan Tello - Federico Chingotto face Sergio Alba Sanchez - Francisco Gil Morales 
Favorites on paper, the Argentines will want to do better than in the last World Padel Tour. Recall that in the last competition in Santander, they were eliminated in 1 / 8th against Pablo Lijo et Adrian Allemandi 6-4 / 4-6 / 7-5. In Vigo, The cat et El Raccoon did not manage to get through the Round of 1 (defeat against Diaz / Nieto in three sets).

This year, the two Argentinian talents have still not managed to evolve at their best level, with results far from their expectations. Will they manage to regain confidence in Andalusia? The return of Mieres on the right

At the same time on field number 2, we will attend the meeting between two ex teammates: Juani Mieres and Alvaro Cepero.

Indeed the two friends decided last week, following the lack of results, to separate their way at the end of WPT Santander.

The last competitions weren't very successful for them as they failed to make it through the Round of 1. They will try with their new partner to remedy this. Mieres decided to join forces with Martin Pineiro et Alvaro Cepero à Aday Santana.

The association between Juani et Piñeiro marks the return of the Argentinean to the right, a position he particularly likes!

Lima / Tapia and Ruiz / Stupaczuk in control?

In the continuation of these meetings, it will be the turn of Pablo Lima et Agustin Tapia to enter the track. They will face two players who have recently joined forces: Jon sanz et Christian Fuster. Favorites on paper, the Argentinian - Brazilian pair will not have to lower their guard.

From 16h on the central track we will be able to see playing Alejandro Ruiz et son partenaire Franco Stupazcuk face Javier Valdes González et Jose D. Sanchez Serrano. In great shape at the moment and with excellent understanding on the pitch Captain America and Chaco shouldn't have a hard time taking down their rivals.

Shocks at all levels!

On court number 2, these are Anton Sanz Riola et Iñigo Zaratiegui who will rub shoulders, for an entry ticket in 1 / 8th, facing Jesus moya sos et Eduardo Alonso. A match between two pairs who have come out of the previas several times this season. We expect a particularly balanced meeting.

In the second part of the afternoon we will have the right to the confrontation between a pair in lack of inspiration this year, the one made up ofUri Botello et Javier Ruiz and another much more fit: Adrian Allemandi et Pablo Lijo.

Indeed if we just take the example of the last WPT which was played in Santander, the Andalusian and the native of Melilla were fooled out in the 1/16 finals by a pair that had just been formed: Rafael Mendez / Gonzalo Rubio.

Conversely, Tito Allemandi et Pablo Lijo are doing their little thing and although their association is rather recent, the understanding between the two players seems to be going well. The results are felt because last week they managed to qualify until the quarterfinals, eliminating in the previous round Juan Tello et Fede Chingotto.

The other two meetings of the day also seem very close on paper. On the one hand we find Antonio Fernandez Cano et José Garcia Diestro face Miguel Yanguas et Ivan Ramirez.
