Indeed the “Atomic Binoculars”Are forced to withdraw from competition following an injury that has not yet been 100% treated for Maria Jose Sanchez Alayeto.

Injured in the calf since the Barcelona Master, the native of Zaragoza did not manage to recover in full.

As mentioned in their post on their social networks, the sisters are giving themselves time to come back stronger to be ready for the Cordoba WPT which will be held from October 17 to 24, 2021.

Since they were seeded 8, the WPT is forced to change the table. Thus, instead of the twins, it is Eli Amatriaín and Carolina Navarro that will challenge Alba Galan and Barbara Las Heras.

This therefore means that Léa Godallier and Ariadna Cañellas, who were initially to compete against Amatriaín / Navarro, will find themselves facing a pair of lucky loser!
