It is via its website that the World Padel Tour has communicated a change in the schedule for this season.

Indeed it was planned that from September 05 to 11 the players of the circuit would fly to Sardinia. However, this step was cancelled. According to the circuit, the tournament's organizing company, NSA Group "made this decision unilaterally […] and terminated the contract binding it with Setpoint Events”.

Moreover, still according to the words of the WPT “it would not be the first time that the Italian firm failed in its obligations".

So to fill this hole in the agenda, the circuit has decided to replace the Sardinian stage with the Casais Padel Open. This small town by the sea, located in the pretty region of Lisbon, will once again host the World Padel Tour.
