The pre-qualifiers for the fourth tournament of the 2021 season on the WPT are well underway! AT Santander, two French are on track to enter tournament qualification.

Indeed, Benjamin Tison et son partenaire Teodoro Zapata seeded 1 of the preprevias, won their second round yesterday. Today, the pair who managed to obtain the precious sesame of the main draw during the Cupra Vigo Open, will try this morning to come back for the 4th time of the year.

Tison (93rd) and Zapata (77th) will be opposed, to 9h30, à Pablo Gonzalez Neria (281st) and Candido Jorge Alfaro (145th). A pair obviously less strong on paper but it will still be necessary to be wary of this 100% Spanish pair, who is not there by chance.

At the same time yesterday, Johan Bergeron associated to Simon vasquez won their two games of the day in pre-previa. They are also playing this morning to qualify for the previas.

Bergeron (115th) and Vasquez (137th) will face Cristian G. Gutiérrez (87th) and Marc Quilez (91st), a pair who eliminated them at the same stage of the competition in Vigo. In Galicia, the Franco-Swedish pair had made a big match before giving in in three sets. The revenge takes place today  at 10:30 p.m..
